Countdown to Family Vacation - Sunday Aug 12

As I count down to the days before my family get here for our Florida vacation, I'm speculative as to how I will spend that time. Should I take my laptop and complete those much needed personal projects taht I always put off (my hotel will have wireless).

Then I read this article and thought maybe not..vacation should be just that, vacation!
I can't WAIT!!

Deep Sea Fishing off the coast of Gloucester

This has been the summer of experimenting with activities that I would never normally partake in.
Recalling what I've been to:
1. Hamptons trip
2. 6 flags New England (twice)
3. Blueman Group
4. Deep Sea Fishing
5. Tubing on Lake Ossipee
6. Visiting Cape Cod
7. Boston Pops
etc.
lookin back, it's been great.
So this deep sea fishing trip was another great adventure that lasted from 6am - 5pm. It was organized by northeastern Uni for only $10. Normal fishing trips cost abt $60 or so, it was a great deal. Plus counting all the fish we caught and ate afterwards, it was a good bargain..not to mention how much fun it was.

The Hamptons with Diddy

Attendees: with my buddy Emma Senyange and I.
We were invited to a summer interns excursions to the Hamptons
We left work early on Friday evening for a funfilled weekend with the lawyers of Clifford Chance - The world's largest law firm ( I did not know this either).

Before embarking on this trip, I had to admit I wrongfully assumed all these lawyer types would be stuck up, pompous and superficial. Boy was I ever so far from the truth! I had a wonderful time in my first Hamptons' experience. Thx Clare for inviting us.

Salsa Cruise

So I had to test out the new picasa slide show widget which I'm loving at the moment. The slide show is for the Salsa Cruise that RA Sandra Hussey put on as a program for WVH.
There was great food latin food as soon as we boarded the boat at about 7pm and lively non-stop Salsa music all night. You barely had room to move as there were salsarinas moving everywhere.
The crowd was a diverse mix of everyone, heck I even spotted a muslim man with a Turban shaking it. If you are ever in the Boston area and are looking for something to do on a Sunday night, check out the salsa cruises.
