Egypt Vs Africa

According to latest reports, Egypt refuses to renegotiate the 1929 agreement signed by colonial masters on the use of Nile Water.

Now I fully support the fact that Egypt my need the Nile more desperately than other African countries that it goes through; but they must realize that they don’t own the River Nile. Every country should own the section of the Nile that’s in their territory.

So now that the Egyptian water minister Allam has firmly stated his stance, what are you other countries going to do? (Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Democratic Republic of Congo, Rwanda and Burundi)

Are you just going to cower back to your holes and say nothing? We are waiting …..

Tall Ships

Today was a nice sunny day so we decided to go check out the tall boats at Charlestown, MA.

On the way back, I had a fender bender as I was parking at Northeastern (yikes!). The damage was not too bad, and even if there was no one to see it (except Sandra), I left my contact info on their car(mom, u proud of me now).

Let's hope the rest of the weeknd goes well..

Junior's 4th of July BBQ

Junior still refuses to share his 4th of July burger recipe. I will hands down hand him the award for best home made burgers that I've tasted this year. It was enjoyable to relax with friends on the sunny 4th of July. Hopefully the sun is here to stay in Boston this month.

Midnite Summer Cruise

Special Thanks to DJ Batenga and Senteza for putting on the midnight summer cruise that went from midnight - 3am last night.

There was a bit of rain at the start that threatened to spoil the event but all went well and the entire event went off w/o a hitch.

HAPPY BD Winnie

Happy 4th Birthday Winnie!!

Winnie (the gal featured above on the logo Galiwood) is my baby sister who behaves like she owns the world..rightfully so.

This is my phone conversation with her when I called Uganda to wish her a Happy BD.

Alan: “Hullo Winnie, Happy Birthday!”

Winnie: “Hullo Alan”

Winnie:”Alan, will you buy for me bubble boom!”

Alan:”Bubble boom, what is that Winnie?”

Winnie:”It is like bubble gum, will you buy for me?”

Alan:”Oh yes, ofcourse”

Winnie:”Okay, bye”

What about "Bubbles"?

Now that MJ has passed, everyone is focused on his family left behind, his loving mother and beautiful children.

However, I have just one question, what about “Bubbles”?

Ron Artest is now a Laker! + Benny Hinn

I'm very excited this July 4th with the news of the Lakers receiving Ron Artest. I hate to see Ariza go but my Oh My! Ron Arrtest! ....now that's Xmas coming in June for us.
Speaking of Xmas and Xtians..here's the Uganda news article of the week.

"THE screaming headline, "Benny Hinn lost sh4b in Uganda" published on Thursday, shocked me. It was like shouting 'FIRE' in a crowded prison cell.

I don't mean to condemn anyone because I believe everyone is entitled to their beliefs, but it is rather strange for someone to tell me that Benny Hinn sunk billions in these crusades when he toured Uganda and expected a profit!.... [more] --> http://newvision.co.ug/D/8/20/686766
